Class of 2027
There’s a lot of attention on getting our kids ready for what comes next. College applications, graduation plans, dorm shopping, and all the little things that come along with preparing them to leave home.
But what about you? Maybe you’re excited about what’s ahead. Maybe you’re wondering what life will look like when things change. Maybe you’re feeling a little bit of everything.
Class of 2027 is a space for moms to navigate this transition together. A place to connect, have honest conversations, and explore how we can help our kids become more independent while also preparing ourselves for the change ahead.
Your senior is getting ready for their next chapter.
What about you?
A Space for What Comes Next
There's so much that goes into preparing our kids for independence. But preparing ourselves for the changes ahead deserves just as much attention.
Class of 2027 brings mothers together to explore both sides of this transition.
Together, we’ll talk about:
Helping our teens develop independence and practical life skills
Staying connected as our relationships with our children evolve
Navigating the excitement, uncertainty, and emotions that come with change
Finding opportunities for ourselves in this next chapter
Learning from and connecting with other mothers experiencing similar transitions
Our gatherings are designed to be welcoming, interactive, and practical. You'll have opportunities to share your experiences, hear different perspectives, and walk away with ideas you can actually use.
Our Approach
We believe preparing for this transition doesn't have to be all about what you're losing or leaving behind.
It's also about celebrating what you've built, supporting your child's growing independence, and getting curious about what comes next for you.
You don't need to have it all figured out. That's part of why we're creating this space.
Meet Your Hosts
Hillary Dovel & Alicia Faris
We’re two moms who understand that raising children means preparing them for lives of their own. But knowing that’s the goal doesn’t necessarily make the transition easy.
We created Class of 2027 because we believe this chapter deserves its own space for conversation, connection, and preparation.
Hillary is a Professional Certified Coach and founder of AHC Leadership Development. Her work focuses on helping people navigate change, strengthen relationships, and show up more intentionally in their lives.
Alicia is a holistic nutritionist and life skills educator who brings people together through food, creativity, and meaningful connection. She facilitates welcoming, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, nurture independence, and invite people to explore what nourishes them.
Together, we're bringing our different perspectives and shared experiences as mothers to help families approach this transition with greater confidence, connection, and excitement.
Come Be Part of the Beginning
Join us for our first free virtual gathering!
Wednesday, November 18, 2026
6:30 PM Eastern | 3:30 PM Pacific
We're creating something new, and we'd love for you to be part of it.
Join Hillary Dovel and Alicia Faris for an informal, interactive gathering with other moms of graduating seniors.
We'll talk about what you're looking forward to, what you're wondering about, and what this next chapter might mean for you and your family.
We'll also share a couple of practical tools to help you begin preparing for the changes ahead.
But just as importantly, we want to hear from you. What conversations would you love to have? What kind of support would be meaningful? What would make this community valuable to you?
This is an opportunity to meet one another, exchange ideas, and help shape what Class of 2027 becomes.
It's free, and we'd love to have you join us.
