“There is something profoundly personal about this work for me because I know what it feels like to move through life feeling unseen, unsupported, disconnected, and unsure of your place in the world.
I grew up in a small town where I often felt different from the people around me. I struggled to feel understood, supported, or truly connected to who I was and what I was capable of becoming. For a long time, I felt invisible. I was looking for a leader and there were none in sight.
Everything began to change when I found a community that helped me feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued for the first time. Through connection, support, curiosity, and self-reflection, I slowly began to understand myself differently. I started recognizing my own patterns, strengthening my voice, setting healthier boundaries, and showing up more authentically in my relationships, career, and life.
That experience fundamentally changed the way I understand leadership and growth.
I believe people grow best when they feel psychologically safe enough to be honest, curious enough to reflect, and supported enough to challenge themselves in meaningful ways. I also believe that leadership is not about perfection, authority, or having all the answers. It is about how we make people feel, how we communicate, how we support growth in others, and how we continue growing ourselves.
The work I do today is deeply rooted in those experiences. Coaching gives people space to reconnect with themselves, strengthen self-awareness, navigate challenges more effectively, and move forward with greater confidence, clarity, authenticity, and intention.
At its core, this work is about helping people remember who they are underneath the pressure, expectations, self-doubt, and noise.”

AHC Leadership Development was founded in 2016 from a deep belief that leadership is about people first.
After years of observing high-performing professionals in fast-moving environments — particularly within tech — Hillary noticed a major gap. Many talented individuals were stepping into leadership roles without the support, emotional intelligence, communication skills, or self-awareness needed to truly lead and develop others effectively.
At the same time, many employees felt unseen, unsupported, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to navigate growth within high-pressure environments.
